An attorney with over seventeen years of experience, Mr. Mittleman has focused his legal practice on civil litigation. He is deeply familiar with all aspects of civil litigation- from case initiation and investigation; filing Complaints; conducting discovery; filing dispositive Motions; and arguing cases before a Judge. He has represented both consumers as well as major financial institutions. He began his legal career in Missouri working in the area of commercial litigation. He subsequently represented consumers in “Lemon Law” actions against major automotive companies. Upon moving to Arizona, he focused his legal practice on collections. In Arizona he represented major banks, credit card companies, financial institutions and debt buyers. Mr. Mittleman then decided to return to representing induvial consumers. To that end, he joined the firm of Ayala Law Office, PC and is focusing his legal practice on family law.

Case Experience and History

In the field of “Lemon Law,” Mr. Mittleman has solo litigated jury trial cases to verdict. His most substantial “Lemon Law” jury victory was in case against Daimler Chrysler. In that case, he was able to obtain significant monetary damages, a new transmission, as well as attorney’s fees for his client.

In the field of collections, he assisted in the collection millions of dollars in unpaid debt for his banking clients; secured numerous favorable Judgements; and litigated many bench trials.
